Unified Activation and Total System Integration
Military bases, ammunition plants, and transfer points face many emergency notification obstacles. Following the release of the Fort Hood report, military facilities must be able to alert everyone in the event of an emergency. Providing comprehensive emergency notification coverage can be challenging, as facilities can vary from an expansive military base to an administrative or industrial setting. The emergency notification system, therefore, must be flexible to accommodate a sometimes large footprint or loud environment.
Alertus meets these needs and provides an emergency notification system that is known for its reliability, localized targeting, ADA accessibility, and interoperability. The Alertus system can be deployed through a single point of activation, delivering critical alerts for a variety of situations such as active shooter, fire, or severe weather.
Many organizations such as the Department of Defense and Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point depend on the Alertus system, which meets and exceeds all Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) requirements. The Alertus system provides a secure, premise-based system and constructed for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environments. Our unified mass notification solution integrates with access control, sensors, gate systems, and multiple data feed vectors including the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP), Alertus ThreatWatcher, and various Rich Site Summary (RSS) formats.
Customers We Serve:
Notify the Entire Facility Through a Single Point of Activation
Time is of the essence when it comes to “See Something, Say Something” situations when instant activation is necessary. Wall-mounted or desktop Panic Buttons connected to either a computer or an Alert Beacon allow immediate activation of the Alertus system the moment an emergency strikes.
Visible Across the Entire Military Facility
The Alert Beacon® is designed to be scalable across a military facility’s footprint. These devices are ADA compliant and provide both audible and visual alerts, which are ideal for large area or loud environments, remote areas where existing systems are unavailable, or across commands and tenants on a single base. Alert Beacons are ideal for facilities that lack an in-building emergency notification system and where retrofitting a conventional voice public address system is impractical and cost prohibitive.
Placing even just one one or a few Alert Beacons in each building can rapidly speed up dissemination of critical information and ensure message accuracy. There are no contact databases to maintain or "opt-in" publicity campaigns, and personnel receive localized alerts when cell phones are silenced or are sleeping in barracks.
Comprehensive, Multi-layered Notification
The Alertus System integrates with a broad range of notification and communication systems to provide customers with unified activation and total system integration. Our system is also designed to complement existing infrastructure and equipment which helps you protect your original investment while enhancing the overall system.
Fire alarm panels, PA systems, LED marquees, digital signage, VoIP and SIP phone systems, desktop alerting and mobile apps can all integrate within the Alertus System. By using this integrated approach, your facility can reach a level of reliability and redundancy of your mass notification system that other, disparate systems can't deliver.
Enhance or Integrate your Giant Voice System
Alertus offers Outdoor Notification solutions designed to meet any military facility’s needs. Alertus’ breakthrough text-to-speech technology embedded in a into a high power speaker array (HPSA) can overcome limitations created by live voice announcements such as enunciation, clarity, and intelligibility. Alertus can also override existing outdoor infrastructure or design a new system to cover outdoor areas with siren tones and clear voice messages.
Mobile HPSA units offer rapidly deployable and easy to operate outdoor PA solutions.
