Vanderbilt University
Vanderbilt is committed to campus safety and utilizes Alertus’ unified mass notification system to reach their community members when an emergency strikes.
By 2010, Vanderbilt integrated the Alertus System with Everbridge to unify their mass notifications. Alertus offers seamless integration between its facility-based mass communication system and Everbridge’s personal recipient notification software, enabling centralized command and control of all notification assets under one unified system.
Greater Gulf State Fair
The Greater Gulf State Fair added Alertus’ Mobile High Powered Speaker Array (MHPSA) to its grounds to help with outdoor notification. The fair's Executive Director, Josh Woods, walks us through his experience working with the MHPSA and Alertus. Watch the video to the left!
Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing
Both students and some staff at Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (NWSDHH) Children are deaf and hard of hearing, so when it comes to emergency communication devices, audio-only alerts are ineffective. They needed a system that could provide both audible and visual notifications.
They looked into several notification systems while consulting with other organizations serving the deaf community to understand their experience with various mass notification solutions. After extensive research and weighing the pros and cons of each crisis alert system, NWSDHH determined that Alertus was the best fit for their emergency communication needs.
