Alertus Server Winter 2023 Release: New Customizable Home Page and More
OUR NEWEST SOFTWARE RELEASE IS NOW AVAILABLE!
We are thrilled to share the highlights from our latest winter 2023 software release, designed to help you strengthen communication and better protect your community.
One significant feature we’re excited to spotlight is the new customizable Home Page. With this update, you can personalize layouts and widgets to quickly gain insight into your system. Streamline activities, like launching Preset Alerts from the main page, and customize, resize, and rearrange widgets to your liking to display relevant information to users. Two default Layouts are provided, but administrators can tailor content to different types of users by creating multiple layouts and assigning these to User Roles.
System administrators can get acclimated to the new homepage changes by locating the "Manage Home Page" link in the upper right-hand side of the site and clicking the "Learn" button to launch a virtual tour that provides clear, step-by-step introductions to all of the new features.
MORE ENHANCED FEATURES AND INTEGRATIONS:
Multicast Audio. Broadcast prerecorded or Text-to-Speech generated audio over multicast. Activate third-party IP speakers.
Certificate Management & Let’s Encrypt Support. Simplify the configuration of HTTPS certificates and set up expiration reminders. Built-in support for Let’s Encrypt certificates.
System Activity Report. Audit log to view configuration changes and troubleshoot problems.
Map Operations Center. A new hybrid page that shows the status of devices on a map and allows the launching and overriding of Preset Alerts.
HTML Publish Alert Service. Publish an HTML alert to a URL that can be sent as a link or used to integrate with digital signage systems.
