Alertus 2024 Winter Release: Shooter Detection Integration, WiFi Panic Button Improvements, and More
OUR NEWEST SOFTWARE RELEASE IS NOW AVAILABLE!
We are delighted to share highlights from our winter 2024 software release, which provides improvements and integrations to enhance your emergency management solutions and protect your community. An exciting new feature we’d like to spotlight is our Shooter Detection Systems Integration, an inbound integration with Shooter Detection Systems (SDS) that allows you to send alerts when a shot is fired and use Custom Event Triggers to manage actions.
More Improvements, Policies, & Integrations:
MySQL 8 Migration: Infrastructure change to the Alertus Server. MySQL 8 will support future security updates and improvements (MySQL 5.7 is no longer supported).
Preview for Text-to-Speech and HPSA Alert Services: Ability to preview audio and text-to-speech when sending a Custom, Preset, Emergency, or Desktop Activation to Alertus IP AVA and HPSA devices. Additionally, Text Pronunciations can now be previewed.
WiFi Panic Button Improvements: Various enhancements include the capability to batch assign contacts to devices, a CSV import, a new Desktop template, and the ability to support BSSID wildcards for Device Assignment Rules.
Redesigned HPSA Dashboard: The appearance of the HPSA Dashboard has been enhanced for better navigability and ease of use.
Alertus Desktop 7.0 (Beta): Major redesign allowing configuration to be centrally managed from the Alertus Server. Includes additional customization options and support for Panic Forms and the new USB Multi Panic Button.
