So, what can you expect from Alertus’ newest software release? We break down some of the major highlights below.

Integration Expansion: Business Communication Platforms

Alertus’ 2021 Summer Software Release comes with critical communication and alerting integrations with Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Google Chat. These exciting integrations with dominant business communications platforms are designed to meet the demands of a dynamic and continuously evolving workforce, equipping you with a powerful tool to deliver immediate and accessible alerts — for both emergencies and routine communications — to employees’ chat channels from the Alertus System using customizable formatting, images, and action buttons. 

Alertus’ new business communication integrations are available to any organization, whether they use a free or paid version of their business communications platform. Customers with access to Slack Enterprise Grid have the added benefit of creating a dedicated Slack channel that can be used by authorized users to communicate about an alert.

Enhanced Notification: Additional Alerting Integrations and Features

The 2021 Alertus Summer Software Release also offers new integrations and features for advanced organizational alerting, security enhancements, and more to help organizations take their mass notification system to the next level. Some of these additions include:

• Sonitor integration. Sonitor panic button activations can now trigger alerts from the Alertus Server. 

• Alertus Console UI improvements. New User Preferences section and redesigned Control Devices and Event Details pages. 

• Next generation FACP interface. Redesigned module with enhanced reliability and flexibility; supports cluster and cloud deployments.

• Alertus System performance and security updates.
